Rachael & Neal’s Wedding | Portland Regency Hotel
I am sitting here reminiscing about our amazing big day as this weekend we will be hosting a reception celebration… the perfect time to share some of our favorite photos from our intimate ceremony this past March. It was everything we wanted and more – a small ceremony that we wrote together while drinking champagne.
As a wedding photographer, I have seen it all and we really wanted to have the time to take off to enjoy it (including a 10 day trip to Costa Rica). Since summers are always crazy, there would be no way we both could get away for 3 weeks, so a March wedding it was! We lucked out because there was no snow and it was 60 degrees out on our wedding weekend.
The proposal: Neal proposed to me on a really special night… the night of the BONS (Best of the Northshore) Party. Not only did I get to celebrate winning 3 awards, but I got to celebrate being engaged to the man of my dreams! I was on cloud 9.

We were so happy with all of our vendors and The Regency was the best place to have our wedding. Even though we were having a small and intimate wedding, they still treated us like we were the only people staying at the hotel. We are in love with our photos and we will cherish them forever.
